Sawaya Jam Factory

Sawaya's Jam Factory moved and started operation in 2011.
Located in the satoyama of Karuizawa, surrounded by cabbage fields and wooded areas,
each fruit is prepared by hand under thorough hygiene control, and
is made with the utmost care and attention.
The factory is a "factory for show," and visitors are welcome to observe the production process through glass windows.
Jam-making workshop (by reservation only) ■
Jam-making workshop using seasonal Japanese fresh fruits, where you can make your own original jam to take home as a souvenir. Families, groups, couples, and adults of all ages can enjoy the experience.
