Tea Salon “Mei Karuizawa

A tea salon associated with Yasuo Uchida and Maki Hayasaka, located about 7 minutes by car from the Mitsuhiko Asami Memorial Museum. The name of the salon is derived from Maki Hayasaka's book "Karuizawa no Mei" (The Mei of Karuizawa). The tea salon, nestled in a forest grove on a large site, has the atmosphere of Karuizawa itself.
