This year’s event, “Salmon Terrace at the Village Restaurant,” was held to coincide with the date the ban was lifted.
The Saku region of Shinshu, adjacent to Karuizawa, is a famous sake production area with a concentration of 13 sake breweries.
Thirteen of these breweries will gather at the Village Restaurant to enjoy a feast of food and sake unique to Saku, Shinshu.
Sake lovers as well as those who don’t normally drink sake,

Main Dining Room Sake Terrace
In the main dining room, you can enjoy a course of dishes that go well with Saku’s local sake,
Sake shabu-shabu, a rare Shinshu pork called chiyogenton, and local sake are lavishly used,
We offer dishes that allow you to fully enjoy the combination of food and sake nurtured in the climate of Shinshu.
A wide selection of sake from 13 sake breweries will be served.
