Domestic cured ham producers from all over Japan gather in Karuizawa.
This is the only major event of its kind in Japan, where the producers themselves cut their prized cured hams from the logs and serve them to everyone for an enthusiastic discussion.
This year, two workshops will participate for the first time, for a total of 18 workshops.
