MAMPEI HOTEL_RENOVATION RELEASEWe are pleased to announce that the Mampei Hotel has officially decided to undergo a major renovation and remodeling project in preparation for the 130th anniversary of the hotel’s founding, and will temporarily suspend hotel operations as follows.
Period
From the evening of January 3, 2023 to June 2024 (tentative)
*Normal business hours end with check-out on Tuesday, January 3, 2023.
Date of business reopening
The date is scheduled for the summer of 2024, but will be announced as soon as it is officially decided.
The renovation work will include extensive repairs and reinforcement of aging deteriorated parts of the building, including the main Alps Wing, built in 1936, as well as the addition of new guest rooms and new facilities in existing buildings.
While preserving the tradition of Mampei Hotel as a valuable historical building, we aim to create a new Mampei Hotel that will provide a safer and more comfortable stay for many years to come.
