2024 Karuizawa Foto Fest (KFF2024) will be held in Karuizawa, Japan.
Seeing the photos in the outdoor exhibition changed my life. It may be an exaggeration, but George Nobechi (Karuizawa resident), the artistic director of Karuizawa Photo Fest, is one such person. The Karuizawa Photography Club, the Karuizawa Tourist Association, and local members of the community have risen up to convey the appeal of photography and its power to many people. The first Karuizawa Photo Fest started with this in mind in the spring of 2023. It generated a lot of excitement.
The second edition of the festival will be held in the spring of 2024. KFF2024 is a photography festival created by your photographs. The first KFF2024 was the first year of the festival, so we have limited the area for submissions to the town of Karuizawa only. For the second edition of KFF2024, we have decided to expand the scope of your activities by extending the shooting area to the Karuizawa area, including the Asama Eriassic region and other areas around Karuizawa. Specifically, the areas of Karuizawa Town, Miyota Town, Komoro City, Tomi City, Tsumakoi Village, Naganohara City, Saku City, and Annaka City. We hope that this will allow us to offer even greater variety in the festival.
