The Eltz Toy Museum Karuizawa celebrates its 25th anniversary since its opening in 1998. The spring exhibition is entitled “Let’s Compare! Toy Figures”, we will exhibit “Pipe Dolls”, “Miniatures”, “Nutcracker”, and “Christmas Pyramid” made by various workshops, according to their motifs.
Toys with various motifs, such as “miner” motifs from the Eltz region’s former mining prosperity, “angels,” and important events such as “Easter (Easter)” and “Christmas,” will be introduced. Visitors will enjoy the differences among the toys, focusing on elements such as their form, coloring, size, and expressions.
