Karuizawa to Myoge Arafune Forest Road by e-Bike: Unexplored course recommended for intermediate and advanced riders.
Model Course
This is a course for intermediate-level riders that passes through the suburbs and climbs up the Myogei Arafune Forest Road with a height difference of approximately 200 meters. Along the way, you can ride your bicycle while feeling the sunlight filtering through the trees and the fresh scent of the forest and the breeze. If you are lucky, you may see rabbits, deer, and squirrels!
If you use an e-Bike (electric bicycle), you will be able to use the assist function! You can climb up the mountain easily.
At the goal, you can enjoy eating Genghis Khan and soft ice cream at Arafune Panorama Camping Field (Uchiyama Farm), and enjoy both gourmet food and cycling.

It is a stop on the JR East (Hokuriku Shinkansen) and Shinano Railway lines. The Shinano Railway is a symbol of the area, which was once the main artery of transportation, formerly the Shinetsu Main Line.

The oldest Western-style ranch in Japan, established in 1887 at an elevation of 1,000 meters, is home to about 150 Jersey cows, which you have a chance to see up close during grazing hours.

Arafune Panorama Camping Field (Uchiyama Farm) Genghis Khan
The goal is a camp field in the sky on a plateau at an altitude of 1,200 meters. The Jingisukan set meal eaten in the great outdoors is so delicious, both the meat and the air, that it will blow away any fatigue you may have had up to this point. Please try it. (Yakiniku set menus are also available.)
