The first Shishi-iwa House retreat is located in the Karuizawa National Park, where there are three architectural masterpieces: SSH No. 01 and SSH No. 02 by Shigeru Ban and SSH No. 03 by Ryue Nishizawa.
SSH No. 04 is by Kazuyo Sejima and is scheduled to open in Hakone in 2026; SSH No. 05 is a wellness retreat in Karuizawa, designed by Junya Ishigami and scheduled to open in 2027. Subsequent openings in international locales are planned.
