When he was a fruit and vegetable store, he started producing and selling jam at the suggestion of a guest staying at a villa in Karuizawa.
In 1980, we established Sawaya Co.
Currently, we operate five directly managed sales outlets in Karuizawa.
Fruit trees are planted on the premises of the bypass store, and they bear flowers and fruits in season.
The adjacent restaurant, "Kodo," serves dishes that make the most of seasonal local ingredients.
At the Kodo Terrace café, you can also enjoy old-fashioned "old light piroshki" and blueberry soft serve ice cream.
