About the “Yobuoru Karuizawa” Demonstration Project
Yoburu Karuizawa” is a shared-ride transportation service (on-demand transportation) that can be easily reserved when you want to use it and allows you to travel comfortably.
Since FY2021, East Japan Railway Company and Seibu Holdings have been running the “Yoburu Karuizawa” pilot project, and this year the town of Karuizawa has joined the project to improve the convenience of public transportation for residents.
In addition to web reservations, telephone reservations and cash payments (pre-registration required) are now available, so please take advantage of this opportunity.

How to make a reservation by phone
*Call reservations are limited to town residents and vacation home owners.
- Please fill out the “User Registration Form” and submit it to the Karuizawa Town Office. (Submission method: Bring the form to the Residents Section window No. 3, mail it, fax it, or e-mail it)
- You will receive a registration card at your home.Reservations cannot be made without a registration card.
- Please call 080-9206-1188 ( in Matsuba Taxi Office) on the day of use.
- Please provide your registration card number, name, boarding and alighting location numbers, number of adults and children, and desired boarding time.
- The operator will inform you of the scheduled boarding time, etc. Please make a note of this information.
- Please inform the driver of your registration card number when you board the bus and pay the fare in cash.Please be sure to bring your registration card when boarding.
*Please be prepared to pay the fare in change.
No currency exchange in the car.
In case of cancellation, please contact us before the scheduled dispatch time.
