Did you know that there used to be a railroad that ran from in front of the current Karuizawa Station to Kusatsu?
Its name is "Kusakaru Electric Railway.
This historical exploration tour follows the tracks of the line and takes you deep into the national forest, which is inaccessible without a permit, with our staff! At the start of the tour, you will be shown the history of Karuizawa and a rare video of the old days of the Kusakaru Electric Railway. Please take a stroll while recalling scenes of Karuizawa in the past.
