Maracatura” from Dipilito Village, Nueva Segovia, the best production area in Nicaragua = large grains with a mild and clean cup, highly evaluated.
Taste profile: Savory with dried fruits and cocoa. Taste: aromatic flavors of dried fruits and cocoa, with a full-bodied and pleasantly fruity taste and a gentle chocolaty bitterness.
Fragrance: Citrus, cocoa
The roaster’s specialties: This year’s Nicaraguan Malacatura beans have a distinctive fruity sweetness that is accentuated by the large size and unique shape of the beans.
◆Roasting degree: Carefully roasted and fluffed. This is the ninth year Mikado Coffee has handled beans from this farm.

Seasonal Cakes
Cakes from December 26th to January are “Apple and Maple Butter Cake”.
This butter cake is made with apples from Shinshu and maple sugar from Quebec, Canada, and has a gentle sweetness with a hint of sourness.

Karuizawa Old Road Store will be offering “Fukubukuro” from the first sale on January 1. The price will be 3,000 yen (including tax), and two other types will be produced.
