Musee no Mori will be open during the year-end and New Year holidays. Please pay attention to the opening days of the museum. The museum will be open from 10:00 to 16:00 (last admission at 15:30). On January 2, 2021 (Sat), a gallery talk (explanation of the exhibition by the curator) will be held at the Karuizawa Museum of Picture Book Art for about 30 minutes from 14:00.

Moose Forest takes the following measures to combat infectious diseases.
Preventive measures taken by the museum
To prevent infectious diseases, our staff will wear masks.
Please use the disinfectant solution available at the museum reception desk and store.
● Doors and windows may be left open to ventilate the facility.
● Regular disinfection of the facility is performed.
Shatterproof sheets will be installed at the entrance reception of museums and art galleries and in stores.
Entry may be restricted depending on the number of visitors. In such cases, please wait for a while before entering.
Money will be exchanged using a tray.
We will record the representative’s name, daytime contact phone number, and the number of people entering the building.
● Temperature and physical condition checks are performed daily by museum staff.
